Super Shine Care Service’s team of experienced and specialist Alzheimer’s Home Carers take a personalised, understanding and unique approach to the Alzheimer’s home care services we provide. Our aim is to vastly improve the quality of the client’s life, and offer peace of mind for their families at this difficult time. Although Alzheimer’s disease shows no prejudice towards anyone, it is more common in older people. This means that they, or their family members require specialist Alzheimer’s care services to help support and assist them in their everyday life.

Whether you are in the early stages of Alzheimer’s Disease with mild symptoms, or you’re experiencing symptoms from the later stages of the disease, we understand just how challenging this time in your life can be, for both you and your family members. Dementia Care

Dementia can seem like a challenging issue to face for families, with the right professional care and support, individuals with dementia can still enjoy an active, happy and fulfilling life in their own homes provided by Super Shine Care Service.

Dementia affects everybody in different ways, which is why it is extremely important to us that every individual client receives the highest-quality of Alzheimer’s care services and support tailored to their individual needs. At Super shine Care Services, we are aware that every case is very different. For this reason, we’ll carry out a tailored and personalised assessment process to ensure your individual Alzheimer’s care needs are met accordingly.

Respite care

If you already have a family member or friend caring for you, Super Shine Care Services also provides respite care as one of our complex domiciliary care services. It is up to you how often you would like our carers to visit your home. The carer will create a dementia home care support plan around your individual needs and personal requirements. Therefore, if you already have a carer and only need us to come and see you once a week, this can be arranged. Your personal carer will take that time to provide you with the best Alzheimer’s care services possible in your own home, with the support of our Respite and Complex Domiciliary Carers.

Super Shine Care Service’s provides support for individuals (adults) across the UK who have life-threatening illness and who would like to remain living in the comfort of their own home surrounded by their family and friends.

Palliative care

Having palliative care at home means that your friend or family member can remain in the place that they feel comfortable and surrounded by their memories, with the support of a compassionate carer. Our care is not just about medical assistance – it is also about offering emotional support and companionship during a difficult time.

Improves quality of life Gives relief from pain and other distressing symptoms. Supports life and keeping people as healthy as possible, regarding dying as a normal process doesn’t quicken or postpone death.
Combines psychological and spiritual aspects of care.

Offers a support system to help people live as actively as possible until death Offers a support system to help the family cope during a person’s treatment and in bereavement. Uses a team approach to address the needs of the person who is ill and their families.

Also applies to the earlier stages of illness, alongside other therapies that are aimed at prolonging life Can take place in hospitals, hospices but also in people’s homes.

Condition Lead Care

Our care service is very personal and flexible – you can choose who looks after you and when they are there to help. Our carers can be there during usual working hours around 8 – 6, overnight, or live in to provide round the clock care so that you have peace of mind 24 hours a day. Our carers are carefully selected and trained, with experience in Dementia and other related conditions such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and are able to provide the respect, understanding and patience required. We are proud of the fact that our support has enabled many people to remain at home and enjoy the independence and comfort that this affords.

All our workers will have either already attained or be in the process of attaining the QCF Level 2 (Former NVQ) in Health and Social Care. Some carers have also attaained the QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care
